Bath House Soaps Review & Giveaway!

I love handmade soaps. They are usually prettier, smell better, and are better for your skin than commercial soaps. I love choosing between all of the yummy scents. Soap also makes a great gift for friends and family. Soap is something that everybody can use and enjoy. So, it's an easy go to gift for anybody that has everything or is just hard to buy stuff for. Since, I like trying out handmade soaps so much, I contacted a company that makes handmade glycerin soap, called Bath House Soaps.

Bath House Soaps have a wide variety of different scents to choose from. In addition to glycerin soap they also have soap made with goat milk and shea butter. They don't just have soaps either. They make body lotions, butters, and body mists. So, if you like a certain scented soap, you can get a lotion and body mist in the same scent. That way you can have a desired scent that lasts beyond the shower.

I received the Apple Pie in Shea Butter Soap, Perfect Pumpkin Soap, Love Spell with Goat Milk, and Crushed Candy Cane Body Lotion. The soaps came wrapped in pretty tissue paper. Inside the tissue, I was happy to find soaps that were individually and safely wrapped in plastic.

All of the soaps are about the same size or larger than a standard commercial soap. All 3 soaps that I received are a creamy white solid color with clear colored chunks and swirls. I like how the colors kind of match the scents. The pumpkin is orange, the apple pie is red and green matching the holiday season, and the love spell is adorned with blue and purple circles and squares like a floral arrangement.

My favorite scent that I chose is the Perfect Pumpkin. It's perfect for this time of the year. Plus, I just like the smell of pumpkin. It's strong and sweet. It's like a creamy pumpkin. This was the first soap that I decided to use. The soap lathers very well. I only have to rub a little bit of the soap on my loofah to wash my whole body. I have only used it a few times, but I think each soap will last for a long time. The best thing about this soap, is that not only do I get to enjoy the delicious scent while I shower, but it also lasts and lasts. It makes my bathroom smell good, not just after I shower, but for the whole day. It's even better than using an air freshener or candle.

The Love Spell Soap also has a very strong scent. If you have ever smelled the Love Spell perfume or lotion at Victoria's Secret than you know what this soap smells like. It's almost identical to the real thing. It's so strong I can clearly smell if even though the soap is wrapped in plastic. I'm keeping it under the sink until I am done with the Perfect Pumpkin, and every time I open the cabinet under the sink I smell the refreshing floral fragrance.

The Apple Pie Soap doesn't have a very strong or overpowering scent. It's hard for me to really smell it well over the plastic that it's wrapped in, but it does smell sweet and yummy. It's also a scent that I think everyone can agree one. Who doesn't love warm apple pie? This will be the next soap that I will be using, as it is perfect for the season.

The Crushed Candy Cane Body Lotion is another great scent for Winter. It smells just the way you would expect; an invigorating and fresh smell of peppermint. It feels just as refreshing as it smells. When applied it makes your skin feel cool and tingly. The lotion is made with goat milk and honey, which are two ingredients that have many benefits for the skin. After I apply the lotion, my whole body feels baby soft and smooth.
