Favorites of 2012 Tag!

I wanted to do a post on my favorite products, but didn't have much inspiration to do one,  and then I found this great tag on I Sold The World's Blog. So, I tag you to do this as well, and post the link to your blog, or just leave a comment below on your 2012 favorites!

Beauty Favorites...
Face product?
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. It's full coverage without being cakey at all. It makes your skin have a lovely satin finish, which I haven't come across with any other foundation. Even though it's my favorite, the $42 price tag is very steep, and I will continue to look for a more inexpensive option.

Cheek Product?
Benefit High Beam. Which is a liquid highlight, that I use on my cheekbones, and sometimes on my nose, forehead, chin, and cupid's bow. The color and formula of this product is unlike anything else you will find. I have tried using light powders as highlights on my cheekbones, and it always ends up not being very noticeable. Once, I found High Beam, I didn't need to look further.

Eye Product?
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Concealer Pencil. Since, I don't have a holy grail mascara or eye shadow, I decided to go with my favorite concealer. Is concealer an eye product? Well, Sephora considers it an eye product, so I will too. I have really bad dark circles, and I have tried many different concealers, from drug store to high end, and have had problems covering my circles. So far, the best concealer I have come across is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil.  It's easy to draw it on, it glides right on, and it blends right in with a brush.

Lip Product?
Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick in Nude Beige. The color is beautiful, a perfect nude pink. It goes well with any look, every day. The formula is very creamy when you first apply it and it's very pigmented. I also love the packaging, it's very glamorous. There are three big cons to this lipstick though and that is the $34 price tag, it wears off pretty quickly, and it dries out my lips. That hasn't kept this from being my go-to lipstick though.

Skin Care Product?
Tatcha Moisture Rich Silk Cream. I received the product from the sponsor and did a review on it. I continue to use it and it has become a favorite of mine. It's very moisturizing, smells good, and comes in a very luxurious little container. I like everything about it. Every night I put it on, I feel like I am doing all I can to protect my skin from the aging process. Although, at $150 I wouldn't purchase it, because it is out of my price range for one skin care product. Even though I am well aware that skin care products can be very pricey!

Nail Product?
SensatioNail Gel Kit. I bought it off of Drugstore.com when it was on sale for $35, plus I had a $5 off coupon code, so it was only $30. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought this product for the original price tag of $59. I plan on upgrading to Gelish polishes eventually, but at the price I got this kit, it was well worth it. Just the UV light alone usually costs more than $30. The color selection that SensatioNail has to offer isn't much, but they are starting to come out with glitter polishes and they also have a french tips kit. You can also use this gel kit with other gel polishes and regular nail polish too. I used this kit on my fingernails and toenails and they both have lasted a long time, and feel smooth like glass. I definitely recommend purchasing this kit if it goes on sale again!

Hair Product?
KQC Shine Spray. It protects my hair from the heat of my flat iron, while also making my hair shiny and pretty. I also love that this shine spray doesn't make my hair look greasy or dirty like many products intended for shine do!

Body Product/Perfume?
Vanilla Dee-Lite Body lotion. I haven't been using any other lotion since I received this bottle, and probably wont stop until I run out. The scent is very sweet and light like warm vanilla. I really like the formula of the lotion as well, it doesn't sit on top of the skin, it just absorbs into the skin very effortlessly. Also like that Lush uses 100% natural ingredients in their products.

Fashion Favorites..

Clothing Piece?
Victoria's Secret PINK Hoodie in the color orange. This is the one item of clothing that I wore way too much this year. I have especially been wearing this a lot in the colder Fall and Winter months, but it can be worn all year round. It's a very light weight hoodie, and doesn't protect you from the cold all that well, but where I live it doesn't get that cold.  The inside of the jacket is a terry cloth material that is super comfy.

Accessory?
Hoop earrings. I got a pack of three hoop earrings in small, medium, and large at Target. It was very inexpensive. I wear them all the time. They go with everything, so you don't really have to think about it. It's a great thing to just throw on, if you are in a hurry to get ready, and want to look put together without much effort. I wear the small and medium ones to work, and the large ones when I go out.

Shoes?
Coach sneakers. I have probably had them for over a year now, but I love them. They are great to wear whether your outfit is very casual and laid back or even a little more dressed up. You wouldn't think sneakers could be dressed up, but since they don't have an athletic look, and they are Coach, it works. Best of all they are cute and comfortable.

Random Favorites..
TV Show/Movies?
The Walking Dead. It's the only TV show where after I watch one episode, I can't wait for the next. I have actually been a fan of the zombie genre for a long time, growing up my favorite movie was the original Night of the Living Dead. So, I really love the new zombie craze going on.

Book?
None. I don't think I read one single book this year, which is going to change, because I actually have a couple of book reviews coming up, which will become a regular thing.

Song?
None. Am I the only one who isn't a fan of music? Sounds weird, but I don't really listen to music aside from just putting the radio on for some background noise when I drive to work.

What are some of your beauty, fashion, and random favorites for 2012?
