January 2013 Starlooks Starbox Review!

This is my 3rd month reviewing Starlook's Starboxes. You can check out what I got in my November Box and December Box. If you aren't familiar with Starlooks, they are a cosmetic and hair care line that also has a monthly subscription box full of full sized Starlooks products. There are many monthly subscription boxes out there, but this one is different because it contains all full sized products, no tiny samples! It's also a great deal at only $15 a month.

This month's Starbox is mint green. I love this color. It's also so in, especially for Spring. Their boxes are always so cute. I wish I would have kept all of my boxes now. I would have a very nice collection.

When I opened the box, this is what I saw. I was surprised by the bright neon green paper, and the beautiful card on top. Their cards are always gorgeous, and they have information on all of the products on the back.

After I opened the paper and revealed all of the goodies, I was really surprised by all of the great things that I got. A peach blush, brown eye liner, Diamondline Eye Pencil, and an 858 dome brush. I also got an extra non-makeup item, a green beaded bracelet, along with the crystals that come in every box.

My favorite items in this box is the brown eye liner and the peach blush. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of these two. Brown eye liner is so useful for me, and anyone really. The liner goes on very easily and is highly pigmented. I also love experimenting with different colors of blush. Peach is my favorite color of blush. This one is a little bit of a pinkish peach with a slight glitter in it. It's also a good quality blush, there's no fall out when I put my brush in it.

I was also happy to get a makeup brush. I can always use more brushes. The dome brush has short and somewhat sturdy bristles. It seems to be a very good quality brush, comparable to Sephora brand. I have not seen one bristle fall out yet. I use it to apply eye shadow all over my lid. It could also be used for blending or smudging.

The Diamondline eye pencil is a light metallic color that appears to have glitter in it. It can be used as an eye liner or you can apply it all over the lid as an eye shadow. I haven't used this pencil yet. I usually use dark colors to line my eyes, so I might try and using this all over the lid.

The only thing I did not like is the bracelet. It's too big and bulky on my wrist. The color isn't my favorite either. If it were a different color, I might like it. The bracelet is made by Abby Rose Designs, which makes handmade jewelry. You can use the code "Starlooks" for free shipping in their shop.

In the picture on the right, you can see me wearing the brown pencil on my lower lash line and on my brows. I'm wearing the peach blush as well, but I am not sure if you can see it too well, since the flash on my camera washes out color.

*Disclosure: I received a complimentary box for the purpose of an honest review. I did not receive any form of monetary compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.
