Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor, Finishing Spray, and Fast Dry Finishing Spray Review!

When I was in Cosmetology school I had access to a lot of high quality salon products. Me, the other students, and my teachers all loved Joico products. They were our holy grail shampoos and conditioners. I remember we would always use the K-Pak deep conditioner after we would dye or bleach anyone's hair, including our own. The customer always loved the way they smelled and would ask me what I was using.

I haven't used Joico in a long time. So, I was really excited and happy to find a package of Joico products in my mailbox!

I received the Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor, Joico Humidity Blocker Finishing Spray, and the Joico Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray.

I recognized the K-Pak Deep Conditioner from school. Yes, it brought back good memories. Not only does it smell great, but after I rinsed it out of my hair I remembered why the K-Pak was so adored by me and my classmates. Deep conditioners and conditioning masks don't always work on my hair. A lot of the time I notice after using a deep conditioner is that my hair is even drier, or I don't notice any difference in my hair at all. This is not the case with the K-Pak deep conditioner. My hair is so moisturized, soft, and silky afterward.  I am so glad to have this product back in my hair care collection.

Next I couldn't wait to try out these finishing sprays! I do my hair almost every day, so I go through finishing sprays quite often. These are great to use whether you curl, straighten your hair, or anything else, because finishing spray keeps your hairstyle in place, without the hard texture that hairspray typically leaves.

Even though both products are finishing sprays, I quickly learned that these two products are not the same. The humidity blocking finishing spray is perfect to spray all over your hair if you only need a light hold. I use this when I flat iron my hair. It protects my hair from the heat, and keeps it looking good. This spray leaves zero hard, sticky, crunchiness behind.

However, the Power Spray Fast Dry Finishing Spray has a very strong hold. Just like the name suggests, this product dries fast, and has a maximum staying power. I like to use this when I curl my hair, so my curls don't become loose. I always like to spray each section with finishing spray before I curl, which is where the fast drying action comes in handy. Then after I curl, I spray that section again to seal the curl.

Both finishing sprays smell great, keep my hair feeling soft and looking shiny, all while keeping my hairstyle in place.

I've never heard of this brand before, I might have to check it out. Does it work well for color-treated hair??

I am always on the lookout for hair care products to help tame my frizz when humidity rises. The Humidity Blocking Spray has peaked my interest. Temps are gonna hit the mid 90s this week and humidity has been 80-90% so I'm game to try anything to tame the frizz. Thanks for the review.

I've actually been looking for a new line. Mine just isn't cutting it anymore, the humidity alone is making my hair bonkers. Dry, frizzy, flat, fly away, I could go on all day. I will be having a closer look at the Joico line. Thanks for the tidbit.
