Chewy.com Hill's Science Diet Fruity Snacks with Apples & Oatmeal Dog Treats Review!

Once again, I am back with another dog treat review from Chewy.com! Chewy.com has a ton of products for dogs and cats. They have a wide selection of pet food, treats, bowls, feeders, flea prevention products, toys, grooming products, leashes, collars, beds, crates, and much more. One of the things that I love about their selection of treats is that they contain wholesome natural ingredients that help give your beloved pet a healthy diet.

They had a great selection of treats for me to choose from this month. The bag of treats that I chose are the Hill's Science Diet Fruity Snacks with Apples & Oatmeal Dog Treats. These are a lot different than the treats that I usually get Zooey. My dog doesn't usually get treats that have fruit as one of their main ingredients. I was really attracted to these treats for that reason. Apples and oatmeal sounds like a delicious and healthy combination for a snack for myself, so I wondered if my dog would like it too.

Some key benefits of Hill's Science Diet Fruity Snacks with Apples & Oatmeal Dog Treats:
  • All-natural ingredients.
  • Naturally preserved.
  • No corn.
  • No artificial colors or flavors.
  • Made with apples, natural sources of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
When my bag of treats arrived, I was very pleased with the presentation and packaging. The bag is resealable, which is important for keeping the treats fresh. The bag is also very attractive, with vivid and colorful pictures of apples and oats.

When I opened the bag, I could smell the scent of fruit and oats. It smells like a yummy granola bar. They smell so good, I started to think that I might want to try one! The biscuits are a good size for most dogs. For bigger dogs these could be considered bite size, for my 10 pound Chihuahua, these go down after a few bites and nibbles.

I was surprised with how much Zooey loved these treats. She was instantly attracted to them. As soon as I opened the bag, she wanted what was inside. I could hardly take a picture, without her trying to eat the treat that was in my hand. She eats these up pretty quickly too. I hear her crunching and munching on these very loudly until the biscuit is all gone, and then she licks away any crumbs that are left behind. I feel like a proud mommy that just got her child to actually enjoy eating fruit. Next on the list is veggies!

Did I mention that these tasty and healthy treats are super affordable? They are on sale for only $4.79 for an 8.8 oz bag at Chewy.com!

*Disclosure: I received a sample for the purpose of an honest review. I did not receive any form of monetary compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don't have a dog, but it's nice to know that these are affordable treats -- for when I do own a dog. :-) Thank you for the review!

Zooey looks like a sweetie, how adorable. My dogs would love these. I have one who loves fruits and veggies. I didn't know dogs could have oatmeal, that's an eye opener.

My dog eats a specific Hill's science diet food because she had pancreatitis. She's a Jack Russell Terrier, and I'm always looking for healthy snacks like this for her. She's quite finicky, but loves anything with a hint of sweetness. I actually really want to give these a try now! And I've never heard of Chewy.com. I will have to check them out! Thanks for this great info. :)
